This help tutorial explains how to use the features of the Local KEG Operations.
Select an Event:
Use the drop-down menu labeled Event to choose an event. The list is automatically populated (or loaded from local storage if offline).
The event you select must have been previouly entered in https://1320traction.com/traction/index.html (Events). You can not add events locally. Once the event is added you must fire up your device you're going to use at the event. You must have an internet connection to get this event into your local KEG Event List. This is the only time you need an internet connection until you are ready to sync events to the server.
Choose Round and Class:
Select the appropriate round (e.g., Q1, Q2, etc.) and class (e.g., TF, FC, etc.) from the available options.
Enter UV and Scanned By:
Fill in the UV field (if unknown, enter '0') and the name of the person scanning the event.
Add a New Round Entry:
Click the Add Round button to create new records. Note: Ensure any previous event data is synced or deleted before adding new entries.
View and Edit Records:
Local records are displayed in the table below. Clicking any row will open a detailed view where you can update readings, capture lane images.
Capture Media:
Use buttons like Capture Misc Event Videos/Images or the lane picture buttons to record or upload media. You can also preview videos and images via the provided modals.
Voice-to-Text Operations:
The Start Voice to Text button initiates speech recognition so that when you click a field, you can speak the reading instead of typing it.
Serial Port & KEG Scanning:
Click the Start KEG Scanning button to connect to your KEG device. The system reads data from the serial port and populates fields automatically.
Sync Event:
After reviewing all the entries and uploading all images and videos, click Sync Event to upload your data to the server.
Once Event is Sync'd:
After Syncing the Event, The Event will now appear in the "Previously Sync'd Readings Below. It's there where you will see the [Send SMS] button
